What should I fix next for SEO and AI visibility?
One prioritization surface for ranked work, plus three scored opportunity lanes. Start from Do Next across classic SEO and AI-answer work, then use Opportunities for striking distance, competitor keyword gaps, and AI prompt gaps filtered to your business.
Opportunities
What you'll see
- Do Next as the ranked cross-lens queue
- Opportunities as a scored three-lane list
- Demand x winnability scoring (not "potential clicks" as the definition)
- Business contextualize filter
- Agent handoff and CSV export
Three opportunity lanes
The scored SEO opportunities list has three lanes, not two: striking distance, competitor keyword gaps, and AI prompt gaps. Lanes can fail independently. Branded queries are excluded by default so you are not celebrating brand noise.
One scored list of winnable SEO and GEO work.
| Lane | Question | Data basis |
|---|---|---|
| Striking distance | Keywords ranking on page 2 that I can push to page 1? | Near page 1 from Search Console with impressions / potential |
| Competitor keyword gaps | What do rivals win that we do not, that fits us? | Competitor keyword gaps, business-contextualized |
| AI prompt gaps | Prompts competitors get cited for that we don't? | AI prompt / citation gaps |
What you can do
How is Do Next different from another opportunities report?
The point of Do Next is one place to see what to do next, so you stop hopping between SEO dashboards. It is a cross-lens ranked action queue: rank, competitor gaps, snippet and CTR issues, AI citations, technical and entity work. When you ask the SEO agent what to work on, it leads with this queue. Opportunities is the scored list machine. Do Next is the unifier that pulls the mess into one next move. GEO loop context lives under AI visibility.
What kinds of SEO opportunities are on the scored list?
The scored SEO opportunities list has three lanes, not two: striking distance, competitor keyword gaps, and AI prompt gaps. Lanes can fail independently. Branded queries are excluded by default so you are not celebrating brand noise.
How are opportunities ranked?
Score 0–100 is demand times winnability. Not pure “potential clicks.” If something is huge but unwinnable, it should not float to the top just because the volume number is loud.
Which keywords ranking on page 2 can I push to page 1?
Keywords ranking on page 2 that you can push to page 1 show up when you already earn impressions near page one. That is the “almost there” pile: tighten the page, fix the technical drag, track the terms in rank tracking, and keep going. It is a shortlist of near-wins, not a guarantee.
Can I filter out irrelevant high-volume noise?
Contextualize the list to the project’s business and customer so keyword gap analysis stays relevant to my business only. High-volume junk that has nothing to do with what you sell drops off the list. Volume without fit is still noise.
What about pages that rank but get no clicks?
When pages rank but get no clicks, that is a real question, and it is its own diagnosis surface under Visibility / CTR tools (snippet face-off, title work when you are page one, SERP is clean, and the snippet is weak). Related prioritization work. Not the second Opportunities lane. We will not market a two-lane product of “almost ranking + rewrite titles only.” Depth lives in CTR Gaps.
Can I hand an opportunity to the agent or export the list?
Hand off an SEO opportunity to an AI agent when you want research or draft help on a specific item, and export SEO opportunities to CSV for content planning when the team lives in a sheet. Same list, two exits. After you pick a gap, keyword research is the natural next expand. Rival discovery that feeds gaps sits under competitor research. Prompt exploration: prompt explorer.

Questions
Where do Opportunities live in the product?
In the Visibility workflow (including the Rank-oriented surface in-app). Marketing name is Opportunities; the home is that prioritization / Visibility loop, not a random fourth nav island.
Do Next vs Opportunities lanes?
Do Next ranks what to do across lenses. Opportunities is the scored three-lane list (striking distance, competitor keyword gaps, AI prompt gaps). Use both: queue for “what next,” lanes for “what kind of win.”
