Track keyword rankings on desktop and mobile over time
Configure trackers per domain and market, check on demand or on a schedule, and split desktop vs mobile. History keeps SERP-feature and AI Overview citation flags so you see position and what is crowding the results.

What if third-party ranks don’t match Search Console?
They often do not line up perfectly. Search Truth on domain intelligence keeps estimated ranks honest against Search Console when you need that reconciliation. Teaser here; the fuller story sits under domain intelligence on competitor research.

What you can do
How do I set up rank tracking for one domain and market?
Set up keyword rank tracking for one domain and market: domain plus market, country and language, depth from 10 to 100. Add and remove keywords as the list changes. Limits are up to 1,000 keywords per tracker and up to 20 trackers per project. You are wiring the terms that matter for that client or site and leaving the rest alone.
Why track mobile and desktop separately?
Mobile vs desktop Google rankings for the same keywords often disagree. Device-split rankings keep both honest so a “we’re fine on desktop” story does not hide a mobile problem, or the other way around.
Can rankings refresh on a schedule?
Yes. On-demand checks when you need them, and monitor keyword rankings automatically weekly (or on the schedule you set) when you want the board to stay warm. You see a cost estimate before a check runs. Rank schedules are live here. Site audit continuous scheduling is a different product story, so we do not pretend they are the same thing.
Why did my Google rankings drop this month?
Trends and top-3 / top-10 distribution show whether the set is climbing, stalling, or sliding. A historical ranking table for all my tracked keywords, with history up to about two years, makes “it dropped this month” a look at the matrix, not a gut feel. You get the shape of the move, then you dig into the terms that actually moved.
Am I ranking but still losing clicks to AI Overviews or snippets?
Checks carry AI Overview citation flags and SERP feature detection, so rank tracking answers more than position alone: is an AI Overview or featured snippet taking my clicks while I still rank? Desktop AIO flags are called out in docs. Deeper rank-but-no-click and exposure work lives with CTR tools and CTR gap docs. For near-page-one work after you spot a soft patch, use opportunities. For clicks after ranks, see analytics.
Who else shows up on my tracked keywords?
Organic share of voice for my tracked keyword set sits on the terms you actually track, not a whole-web number. Rank runs also surface who are SERP competitors for my rank tracker keywords so you know who is sitting next to you week after week. For domain-level rivals and Search Truth, competitor research goes deeper.
