Backlinks
Referring domains, quality signals, link gap vs competitors, and a prospects board for outreach tracking.
Who links to your site, and is the profile actually healthy? Backlinks shows who links to your domain or URL, how the mix looks (dofollow and nofollow), what quality signals look like, which anchors show up, and how new vs lost links are trending.
Beyond the profile, EZ SEOS includes link gap (domains that link to competitors but not you) and a link prospects board so outreach status lives next to the research instead of dying in a one-off export. Analysis is credit-based with cost shown first. Results cache for 6 hours.

What you can do
| Move | Detail |
|---|---|
| Scope | Analyze a domain or a specific URL |
| Defaults | Totals plus strongest-per-domain by default; expand to all links when you need depth |
| Tabs | Referring domains and top linked pages |
| Export | CSV when you need a sheet |
| Filters | Authority-style rating, spam signals, dofollow/nofollow, hide lost or broken |
| Link gap | Domains linking to competitors but not you |
| Prospects board | Outreach status, notes, and next touch on a durable board |
What the overview tells you
| Signal | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Referring domains / link totals | Size and shape of who links to you |
| Dofollow / nofollow mix | How much of the profile is likely to pass equity vs not |
| Quality and spam-style signals | A quick read on strength vs risk without treating any score as gospel |
| Anchors | How sites describe you when they link |
| New / lost trends | Whether the profile is growing, bleeding, or churning |
| Top linked pages | Which of your URLs attract links |
Authority-style ratings and spam signals help you sort, not crown a winner. Use them next to real referring domains and the pages those links actually hit.
Link gap
Link gap is the shortlist of domains that link to rivals but not to you. That is prospecting fuel: sites that already link in your category, not a random cold list.
Run it when you know who you actually compete with, then pair it with competitor research (/docs/competitor-research) so the rival set is real. Gap is not a promise those domains will link to you.
Link prospects board
The prospects board is CRM-lite for link outreach: status, notes, next touch. It is meant to stay open across weeks, not replace your whole sales stack.
That durability matters for agencies and anyone running multi-touch outreach. The board keeps status and next touch next to the domains you already researched.
What does each link record show?
| Field area | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Source domain / URL | Who is linking and from where |
| Target URL | Which of your pages (or the competitor's) received the link |
| Dofollow / nofollow | Link attribute mix on that record |
| Authority-style / quality signals | Relative strength and risk context for sorting |
| Spam-related signals | Extra caution flag when something looks off |
| Anchor text | How the link is labeled |
| Lost / broken state | Whether the link still looks live or has dropped |
| New / lost timing signals | Recent change context when available |
Filters let you hide lost or broken noise, focus dofollow, and sort by quality signals so the table stays usable.
How the agent uses your links
The agent can help you judge wins and losses: what looks like a real gain, what looks like noise, where the profile is thin, and what gap prospects are worth a conversation.
Through tools and MCP it can work link gap and the prospects board with you, not only dump a static profile. Ask who links to you, where you are light vs a rival, and which prospects are stuck without a next touch.
