Site audits

On-demand crawls up to 10,000 pages with prioritized fixes, performance, orphan rescue, and IndexNow after changes.

A site audit is an on-demand crawl. You launch it when you want a fresh read, not a continuous scheduled crawl sitting in the background.

It can crawl up to 10,000 pages and surface technical, content, and performance issues with fixes ranked by impact, including a worst-pages view so you know what to fix first.

What a site audit checks

LayerWhat you get
Per-pageTechnical and on-page issues on individual URLs
Content structureHow content structure and page quality show up across the crawl
Site-widePatterns that apply across the site, not just one URL
Worst pagesIssues and pages ranked so impact leads the queue

Orphan rescue

Orphan pages are URLs with little or no internal linking that still show demand in Google Search Console (impressions, and sometimes more). They are already in the graph people search into, but the site is not helping them get found or understood from the rest of your content.

Audit + GSC demand is how you prioritize re-linking: put internal links toward pages that already earn impressions before you invent new URLs nobody has asked for. That is usually a better first move than another net-new page.

What the performance check reports

Performance uses Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals style checks so slow or unstable pages show up next to the technical crawl, not in a separate tool you forget to open.

FocusWhy it is in the audit

Traffic importance joinSlow pages that matter for traffic rise in priority so you do not only polish quiet URLs

Fixing a fast page nobody visits is less useful than unblocking a slow page that already has demand.

Content quality fold-ins

Site audit is not only status codes and tags.

Originality. Originality scans can run over crawled pages with human approve and risk signals before anything is treated as a verdict. Full workflow: content originality (/docs/content-originality).

Citation readiness. Crawl content can feed citation readiness signals for AI answer surfaces. Depth lives under GEO (/docs/geo).

Advanced content diagnosis. When you need more than hygiene, you can lean on a SERP differentiation brief and a Wayback competitor timeline as advanced content diagnosis, not as the default first step for every site.

IndexNow after fixes

After you fix important URLs, you can notify IndexNow-capable engines about changed or important pages so they learn about the update sooner.

That is not a ranking guarantee. It speeds awareness of changes. Rankings still depend on quality, competition, and everything else Google cares about.

How the agent uses an audit

The agent works from worst pages and keeps redirect and canonical guardrails in mind so "fix it" advice does not casually break URLs that already rank.

Audit history is retained, so you are not starting from zero every run, and crawl output can feed originality work. Ask what to fix first, which issues are cosmetic vs structural, and how a redirect plan should stay safe.

Costs and caching

You get a cost estimate before the crawl. Crawl size drives cost.

Reading a finished audit is free. You pay to run the work, not to re-open the report.

Page Glance

When you only need multi-signal context on one URL and you do not want a new paid site crawl, use Page Glance.
